Today I watched all 6 Star Wars movies back to back. I still think The Empire Strikes Back is the best one. Took me about 15 hours total.<\/p>\n
And one more thing… Han shot first. What the fuck, Lucas? Lame, lame, lame! For those of you who don’t know, George Lucas went back and edited the hell out of the original trilogy, the one we all grew up with.<\/p>\n
In Star Wars episode IV A New Hope, the one that came out in 1977, the “first” one, Lucas fucked up the cantina scene. The one with Greedo (the green guy) and Han Solo, remember that one? Greedo corners Solo at gun-point and the two sit down opposite each other at a small table in the corner.<\/p>\n
In the original film, Han shot first and kills Greedo. In the “fixed” version, Greedo shoots first and misses (misses from 3 feet away with his blaster aimed RIGHT at Han Solo), then Han Solo shoots and kills Greedo. Purpose of that? OK, rant over.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
