I guess I kinda checked out for awhile after the railroad thing went down the tubes.<\/p>\n<p>So today I walked downtown to get a bagel and some coffee.  I was sitting on my favorite bench, down by the creek, on campus.  It&#8217;s a little amphitheatre, with rows of benches on one side, the creek in the middle, and the &#8220;stage&#8221; on the other side.  Very scenic.<\/p>\n<p>Then a bird pooped on me.<\/p>\n<p>Hey, thanks God.  Can I catch a break here?  I mean, first I don&#8217;t get the railroad job.  Then I can&#8217;t find ANY jobs.  Then I get sick with the flu for over a week.
