He wanted chile relleno from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.etbtruckee.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">El Toro Bravo<\/a> in Truckee&#8211;which is excellent. I always get the carnitas. This evening they did not disappoint.<\/p>\n<p>The cabin hasn&#8217;t changed. It&#8217;s still very calm and quiet. Nothing to listen to but the wind gently whooshing through the pine tree tops and the chattering of the Steller&#8217;s Jays&#8211;and your own thoughts of course.<\/p>\n<p>When the sun started to go down my dad put on the A&#8217;s game. We swapped back and forth between Oakland the the SF Giants games. My dad poured some cognacs. I thought to myself, &#8220;this may be the last time I ever get to do this&#8230;better enjoy it&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Dad didn&#8217;t say much.
