I’ve lived in California all my life–SoCal, NorCal, and the Bayarrhea. I have a lot of fond memories of my life here in California. And for most of my life it’s been a nice place to live. But I think I’ve had enough. I don’t like what this state has become. I don’t like where it’s going.
When I left SoCal back in 2001 I was hoping for a better life in NorCal. Chico was nice, but the Bayarrhea is just not a nice place to live. To me, there’s little difference between the SF area and the LA area. It’s too crowded. Too many undesirables.
So we’re headin’ for the hills. Nevada looks good. I like the Minden-Gardnerville area, right around where highway 88 meets Interstate 395. It’s purdy. And since my girl is part Basque, she’ll feel right at home with the local Basque population. Lots of good Basque restaurants in the area. Mmmm… lamb…

We’ve got 8 more months on our lease. Then it’s goodbye nightclub, hello country. So don’t be too disappointed when you look up and I’m gone. Because, ah… I’m really gonna be gone.
