That’s right kids, I’ve got the cabin reserved for this weekend. Dave and I are going up Friday afternoon and staying until Sunday. Anyone else want to go? There’s plenty of room. Just give me a call, or e-mail me. All are welcome.  Seriously, come on up.

You see, it’s Dave’s birthday weekend. The old fart is going to be 34. And I should talk, I’m going to be 35 in December. At any rate we’re going to party, gamble, BBQ, play some golf, play cards, stay up late, sleep in late, and/or just lounge around the cabin and do absolutely nothing.

Friday night we’ve got some craps to play in North Shore. I have dreams about this game. When I learned earlier this year it was the most exciting thing. Now every time I get anywhere near Nevada, craps is all I can think about–it consumes my every thought. Every time I’ve played craps I’ve won. Well, except my last night in Reno at a golf tournament earlier this year–I broke even. But in my book, that’s still winning. I drank for free for hours and had a great time to boot.

So my dad made a phone call and now we’ve got a 10:30 tee time at Ponderosa golf course right there in Truckee. Four players, 18 holes of golf, and carts. Free. Holy crap, thanks dad!

Sooo… hopefully I’ll have a nice DrunkStory to post on Sunday night when I get home.

EDIT: And don’t believe Dave’s comments.  When I say he lost a $1000 in Reno, that’s the truth.

I’ve got two tickets to see 311 at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz on Thursday, July 20th at 8pm.
