Sunday morning, 10:30am. I am sooo excited, and I can’t take it any longer, so I get out of bed and get ready for The Great Expedition of 2006. The Captain and all the players will be here soon for an afternoon of bar hopping in San Francisco’s North Beach district, and I must prepare.

Let’s meet them, shall we?

Meet The Captain of our expedition. His job is to lead us in our quest to find the best nook in North Beach.

The Yeoman. His job is to properly document and record all events during our journey.

The Navigator. His job is to get us from point A to point B without getting us lost (too badly) in this !@#$ing town.

The First Mate. Her job is motivate the others and persuade them to drink more. I know, I know… easy job, right?

The Serving Whench. Her job is drink Racer 5 and get really buzzed, and walk around yelling “Holla!” and “Woooooot!!!” and finally: to do shots of whiskey with us like a fucking champion and not complain *once* about it.
