I win

Guess how much sleep I got last night?

None. Not a wink. I stared at the ceiling until 6am or so, then got up and walked down to the coffee shop. I had a nice leisurely breakfast, enjoyed my coffee, and took my time walking home.

That is, until I got about two blocks away. That’s when I started to feel a little “back pressure”.

Ooof. OK, I think I can make it. I’m almost home. Just in case I started to look for “emergency exits”.

My pace quickened. It was coming, oh yes. I started to panic. Oh shit, I might not make it. My pace became a jog.

I started to laugh. What a way to start my graduation day.

By the time I got to my apartment building I was running up the stairs for dear life, furiously fiddling for the right key to unlock the door.

Well, I made it. But just barely…

And now I go graduate. I win.
